Kang's Basketball Mascot
An illustration/logo for possible usage in the team's season event program.
While kangaroos may jump, I think it is more of a maximum lunge forward action for distance, rather than height up into the air (as in basketball). It seems both legs often act in unison together, rather than splayed apart. It was my attempt here.
The process was to start with a sketch of pencil and Sharpie, then move into Illustrator for vector rendering. Colors were already determined by the school.
